Mulher e Mãe no Contexto da Violência Doméstica por Ana Sani

Resumo O presente texto pretende identificar e discutir alguns aspectos centrais contidos na relação entre a violência doméstica sobre a mulher e os efeitos produzidos ao nível da sua identidade, papel e experiência parental. Apontam-se algumas das conse- quências directas e indirectas deste fenómeno para a mãe. Debatem-se algumas das parti- cularidades no desempenho da parentalidade, permanecendo ou não a vítima na relação e os eventuais conflitos de interesse emergentes desta experiência. Por fim, sustenta-se a ideia da importância do suporte ao exercício da parentalidade em casos de violência doméstica e sugerem-se algumas directrizes na investigação desta temática.

Abstract
Woman and mother in the context of domestic violence
The present paper aims to identify and to argue some central aspects contained in

the relationship of domestic violence on the woman and the effect produced in her iden- tity, role and parental experience. Some of the direct and indirect consequences of this phenomenon are pointed with respect to mother. Some of the particularities in the parent- ing performance whether or not the victim remains in the relationship and the eventual emergent conflicts of interest of this experience are analyzed. Finally, the idea of the importance of the aid to parenting in cases of domestic violence is supported, and some directives for further research are suggested.
